STREET AND ROAD IMPROVEMENTS FOR 2012

The Board of Supervisors approved the following Street/Road improvements for 2012:

  • Jean Blvd repaving project
  • Jean Blvd storm sewer extension project
  • Wyndham Hills micro surfacing project

The Board will approve the road sealing program later in the month.

 
ROAD CLOSING

Turtle Creek Road continues to be closed at the bridge due to damage to the bridge caused by flooding in the Summer/Fall of 2011. The Township is working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to obtain the funds necessary to rebuild or repair the bridge. A preliminary estimate of the cost for repairs was $275,000.

 
ROAD CONSTRUCTION
PADOT will be doing repair work on RT 45 at the bridge west of Fairground Rd, Monday, April 30,2012 and then on Wednesday, May 5, 2012, from near Lampinos to RT 15. Most of the work will be performed at night from 8 PM until 6AM, weather permitting.  Expected duration should be about 2 weeks.
 
ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Jean Blvd construction will start April 30, 2012.  Check here for updates as more information becomes available.
 
YARD WASTE COLLECTION

The curb side collection of Brush and Leaves begins on April 9, 2012 and ends at the end of September, 2012. Please look at the Recycling Section of these web pages for important information on what and how yard waste must be placed for collection. Only materials placed for collection correctly will be picked up.
