East Buffalo Township taps Stacey Kifolo as first full-time township manager
LEWISBURG -- The East Buffalo Township Supervisors voted unanimously on Wednesday to hire Stacey Kifolo as the municipality's first full-time manager.
Kifolo, who currently holds the position of fiscal coordinator for the Central Pennsylvania Workforce Development Corporation, is expected to start Nov. 1.
Kifolo will succeed Peter Marshall, who has served as an interim part-time township manager since October 2011.
Before Kifolo began her current job with the Workforce Development Corporation in 2008, she served for 9 years as corporate business manager for a non-profit organization serving northeastern and central Pennsylvania with six years of prior experience in sales and finance in the automotive industry.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Bloomsburg University. She was born and raised in Lewisburg.
Over 60 applications for the position were received and 10 candidates were given interviews. Kifolo's salary will be $67,000 per year.
The township manager is charged with overseeing the operations and personnel of the township in coordination with and under the direction of the township board of supervisors, which consists of Chairman Henry Baylor, Vice Chairman Tom Zorn, and Supervisor Jim Buck.
