East Buffalo Township is currently accepting resumes for the position of Township Manager.
East Buffalo encompasses 15.3 square miles of diverse zoning districts, over 51 miles of roads, and is home to over 6,700 residents.
The Township Manager serves as the Chief Executive Administrative Officer responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities as directed by the Board of Supervisors and the Second Class Township Code.
The Township Manager is responsible for day-to day-operations; short and long range planning; project management; budgeting and financial oversight of multiple funds; grant procurement and management; advising and assisting the Board of Supervisors; coordinating internal activities and those with other public and private agencies; ordinance enforcement; supervision of personnel; and administering personnel and other policies. Additional duties include serving as secretary, treasurer, human resources director, and Right to Know Officer.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in public administration, business administration, or closely related field; strong written and oral communication skills; strong financial skills; and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications include: Experience in management and budgeting, with a working knowledge of all phases of municipal operations.
