The Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority (BVRA) was formed through an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement between East Buffalo Township and Lewisburg Borough.
BVRA maintains community recreation facilities and provides year-round activities and programs that positively impact the health, safety and welfare of the residents within the partnering municipalities and the surrounding area. BVRA is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the community pool, the Saint Mary Street Park and the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail.
Oversight of BRVA is provided by an seven (7) member board. Representatives are residents from both East Buffalo Township and Lewisburg Borough and are appointed by their prospective municipalities.
