Drop-Off Recycling Collection

The Recycling Drop-Off Center will resume operations

on Monday, May 18, 2020.

TRAFFIC

As is standard, traffic will be One Way, entering the parking lot through the south ingress and exiting through the north egress. However, we anticipate high traffic volumes, so expect changes in traffic flow as directed by the Public Works Crew.

MASKS

Masks are required while accessing the recycling center.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Practice safe social distancing. Anticipate on-site changes:

  • Limiting the number of people accessing the site at a given time. This may require people to remain in their cars until directed.
  • Controlling directional movements while accessing the recycling center.

COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) POSITIVE

If anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 (Coronavirus), DO NOT RECYCLE. Please deposit your materials with other generated trash to be collected by your private refuse hauler.

SPACE IS LIMITED – PLEASE MAKE ROOM

We anticipate high volumes of recyclables. In order to provide as much space as possible in the bins:

  • Flatten all boxes and cartons
  • Crush all plastic bottles

NOTICE OF POTENTIAL SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS

There may be times when the Township will not be able to accept certain recyclable products due to collection bins reaching capacity. Measures being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are also changing the processing of materials by Lycoming County Resource Management Services (LCRMS). These measures may delay services and prevent the opening of some bins or the Drop-Off Center as a whole.

Under no circumstances should recyclable materials be left at the recycling center when the site is unattended by Township personnel.
